- 19/11 1943 Gunner David James Jeremiah 4 Ridgeway, son of Mr & Mrs M A Jeremiah, 15 Greenfield Row arrived home after 2.5 years service. In North Africa campaign and fought Battle of Alamein. Also retreat from Torbruk. Twice wounded.
