    12 August  (Fri.) Rifles Volunteer Band (leader Col. Sgt. Tom Lewis) played for the first time in Kiosk at Victoria Gardens.

    23 September County School was officially opened by C E D  Morgan-Richardson. Speakers: Vaughan Davies MP, W O Brigstoke, Pembs MP, Wynford Phillips, Capt Jones Parry and Prof Morgan Lewis. Memorial gates designed by J J Ceri Jones, Rhydlewis a former pupil.
