  • Revd William Cynog DAVIES, Vicarage, 4 Dec 1900, 67, Clerk in Holy OrdersHe succeeded Revd Griffith Thomas as vicar if St Mary’s. He married Mary Elizabeth nee Jenkins (sister of R D Jenkins, Cilbronnau) in June 1879 in London. She died, aged 55 years, on 22 March 1888 and was buried on 27/3. A Tablet was unveiled in St Mary’s Church to the former vicar in February 1913.
