  • 8 1946 (Wed.) Reopening of Capel Mair vestry after refurbishment.
  • 8 1922 (Mon.) First operation performed at Cardigan Hospital by Sir John Lynn Thomas on an 18 year old St Dogmaels man. The operation saved his life.
  • 8 1879 (Thurs.) Hope Chapel foundation stone laid at 3.00 p.m by David Davies MP. Devotional service conducted by Rev Dr Rees, Swansea.
